Freezer Cold, Refrigerator Warm

If the freezer still freezes food while the refrigerator section warms up, cooling is being produced somewhere. The next question is whether cold air cannot reach the warm section, that section is not being told to cool, or refrigerant is not being distributed correctly.

Safety: do not remove energized panels, test compressor or control circuits, move board configuration parts, add refrigerant or open the sealed system. Stop using the refrigerator if you smell burning insulation, see sparks, find an overheated plug or the breaker trips again.

Not in every design. A dual-system or valve-controlled refrigerator can have a section-specific compressor or refrigerant-distribution fault.

No. Ice, a blocked return, a fan problem and even testing with another door open can produce the same impression.

It may temporarily restore airflow if ice is blocking it, but it does not repair the reason the ice formed.
